Barack Obama Presidency Could Include U.S. Troops in Pakistan

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama addressed the issue of foreign terrorism with a stern warning towards Pakistan.

Obama outlined plans to implement a U.S. invasion of Pakistan in order to hunt down terrorists unless the country made more of an effort to stop terrorist operations. In a calculated show of aggression, Obama further stated that he would be willing to send troops into the country with or without permission.

Pakistan has been seen as a safe haven for terrorists and provides a unique topography that is conducive for terrorist hideouts and terrorist training grounds.

Addressing the seemingly lethargic attitude of the Pakistani government in pursuing terrorists Obama said, “There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again. It was a terrible mistake to fail to act when we had a chance to take out an al-Qaida leadership meeting in 2005. If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will.”

The Illinois senator’s remarks come one week after Democratic rival Hillary Clinton called his foreign relations ideals as irresponsible and naïve.
