Paris Hilton Has Heart for Musical about Organ Harvesting
Having already proven her talent on the big screen, the small screen, and the straight to video variety of entertainment Paris Hilton will now try to prove that she has the heart for a new movie musical about organ harvesting.
According to producer Carl Mazzocone “We saw many actresses for the role, and Paris sang it better than all of them.” Mazzocone wasn’t the only one that thought Hilton excelled, director Darren Lynn Bousman commented “I have auditioned at least 30 actresses for this role — Paris came in and owned it.”
“Repo! The Genetic Opera” is a horror rock opera that portrays a disease-filled future in which people can purchase new organs and pay on an installment plan. The twist comes when the corporation that supplies the organs looks to reposes body parts when a payment isn’t made on time.
Filming is set to begin in September in Canada.
