Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens is resting his hamstring, sitting out of both practices on Wednesday. Coach Wade Phillips claims that Owens does not have a hamstring problem. Last year, he sat out 14 consecutive workouts during training camp due to his hamstring.
The Cowboys are currently without both of their starting wide receivers. Terry Glenn is recovering from arthroscopic surgery to repair loose cartilage in his right knee. He is expected to miss up to two weeks.
Jerry Jones likes the fact that Owens is resting. However, it makes fans and teammates uneasy about his situation due to his history of hamstring problems.
