Democrats Leading Per USA Election Poll

The latest USA Election Poll results are now available.  These results are contained by taking the individual state polls, giving each state a weighed factor per their population and dividing the total delegates of the state based on the percentage the candidate received on the poll.  The results show the percentage that each candidate has received in each state.

According to the USAEP primary polls, the leading Democratic candidate is Hillary Clinton with a 36 percent of the delegates.  This is slightly below the percentage shown for her in the Fox News Poll and the ABC News Poll.  Senator Barach Obama is showing a 20.8 percent of the delegates.  This total is also slightly less then his results in the Fox and ABC News Polls.  Candidate John Edwards has a 13.8 percent of the delegates.  In a reverse trend, this result is above the results for John by the Fox and ABC polls.  Bill Richardson has a showing of 3.8 percent with a 2.1 percentage for Joe Biden.  The results for both of these candidates are more than their results in the ABC and Fox News Polls.

On the Republican side of the poll, the lead is going to Rudy Giuliani with a 29.8 percent.  This is above the Fox News Poll results by approximately 2.8 percent.  John McCain is in second place with 16.9 percent.  With 14.5 percent, Fred Thompson is next in the line up.  Both of these candidates are showing 16 percent of the delegates in the poll by Fox News.  Mitt Romney is next with a 9.6 percent in the USAEP poll and 9 percent in the Fox Poll.  Newt Gingrich has only 4.9 percent of the delegates and Mike Huckabee had 1.7 percent.  Fox News shows Newt with a 2 percent of the delegates and Mike with 3 percent.

These totals are considered a more accurate reflection of the polls.  The state polls are considered to have a better knowledge of the electorates in their states.  The states can do a better job of equalizing the demographic conditions in the state that are vital to accurate polling.
