Levi Brown signs a six-year, $62 million deal with Arizona Cardinals. The deal, worth the maximum amount, is the most lucrative agreement in NFL history for an offensive lineman. Brown was the fifth selection overall and second offensive tackle taken in the draft.
Joe Thomas, the first offensive tackle taken, signed a six-year deal with the Cleveland Browns only worth $45 million, with $22-23 million guaranteed.
Brown, the former Penn State Nittany Lion, will be very vital to the Cardinals' offense at right tackle since starting quarterback Matt Leinart is left-handed. He will be in charge of protecting his blind side, something that shouldn't be hard due to his size (6-foot-5 1/2, 323 pounds) and technique.
