Detroit Tigers Infielder Neifi Perez Suspended 80 Games

Neifi Perez has tested positive for a banned stimulant for a third time and as a result the Detroit Tigers’ infielder will be suspended 80 games.

After a year and a half with eth Royals Perez joined the San Francisco Giants and then the White Sox. Perez joined the Tigers in 2006 and was hitting .172 with one home run and 6 RBIs when the suspension was handed down.
