Melanie Brown, aka Scary Spice, Has Father for Daughter
Melanie Brown, known to many as Scary Spice from the Spice Girls, has seemingly convinced Eddie Murphy that while he played a loveable donkey in ‘Shrek,’ being an ass in real life is not so cute.
On Friday Murphy acknowledged that he was in fact the father of Brown’s newborn daughter Angel. A statement released by Murphy’s publicist read “He acknowledges paternity of the child Angel, and has paid child support to Ms. Brown as well as covering the expenses of her pregnancy.”
Brown, 32, and Murphy, 46, dated for several months in 2006 before splitting. Murphy initially denied paternity of Brown’s daughter but the Spice Girl was adamant and a paternity test eventually declared Murphy to be the father.
