Man killed at actor Ving Rhames’ house identified

The man who is thought to be mauled to death by actor Ving Rhames’ dogs has been identified as 40-year-old Jacob Adams. The cause of death is unknown as of now,  but an autopsy is being performed to determine whether the man was killed by the dogs or a heart attack.

Adam’s lived at the “Mission Impossible” stars house for almost two years, and cared for the four dogs on a daily basis. Adam’s body was found in the front yard of Rhames’ Los Angeles home. He had numerous bite marks on his body, but police believe that he might have died of a heart failure while the dogs where attacking him.

Animal control took the three bull mastiffs and one English bulldog into custody and they are being held until the cause of death is determined and blood tests are run on the animals to see if they have rabies or other deadly diseases.

Rhames was out of the country at the time of the attack. He starred in films including all three “Mission Impossible” movies with Tom Cruise, and “Pulp Fiction” with John Travolta.
