The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the New Orleans Saints 20-7 Sunday in the annual Hall of Fame Game in Canton, OH. Soon after Michael Irvin, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Matthews, Roger Wehrli, Charlie Sanders and Gene Hickerson were inducted into the 2007 Hall of Fame class, the Steelers and Saints took the field in the league's first exhibition game.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was 2-for-3 for 72 yards in his only drive. The Steelers came out of the gate strong, compiling 305 yards to the Saints' 56. Pittsburgh scored 17 unanswered points in the first three quarters and held Saints star running back Reggie Bush to just two carries for eight yards.
