Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens sat out of practice again Sunday, this time due to a tight back. He had missed practice previously due to his hamstring. Last year, Owens missed about half of his first training camp with the Cowboys last year, including the first three preseason games due to his hamstring.
Owens and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who returned from indoctrinating former Cowboy wide receiver Michael Irvin into the Hall of Fame, are positive that Owens' ailments are not threatening. He is expected to play in the Cowboys' preseason opener on August 9 against Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts.
