Pete Doherty, Life without Kate Moss Could Include Jail Sentence

Pete Doherty already has to deal with life after Kate Moss but now he might have an extended period of time behind bars to think about it if he’s unable to kick a drug habit that has landed him in court on several occasions.

On Tuesday a judge ruled that the Babyshambles frontman must participate in a detox program and show a willingness to clean up his act or he will land in prison.

The 28-year-old admitted to possession of crack cocaine, heroin, ketamine and cannabis in relation to a driving offense that he was arrested on earlier this year.

Judge Davinder Lachlar said “If he does not show his motivation it's prison, as simple as that. Depending on what information I have when you next come to court, the decision will be made.”

A Sept. 4 court date has been set for Doherty to report for review.

Doherty is still reeling from his recent split with supermodel Kate Moss. The 33-year-old cover girl dropped Doherty after she discovered he had been involved with a South African model.
