Tom Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes were refused entry to a nightclub in St. Tropez. The couple was not allowed entry to the club because the VIP room was reportedly too crowded.
“The VIP area was full and the management weren’t willing to move the guests already there to make room for Tom,” a source said. “It wouldn’t have been fair – they’d spent a fortune.”
Cruise and Holmes arrived at 11 p.m. and insisted they be let in. The couple’s security guards even pleaded with the club bouncers. One said, “Are you serious? It’s Tom Cruise.”
Cruise reportedly “stormed off” to another club where he and Holmes were given their own table. “Tom looked really out of place among all the clubbers with glowsticks dancing away to house tunes. He sat there tapping his foot nervously to the music and couldn’t get out of there fast enough,” a source said.
A spokesman from the first club confirmed they turned the movie stars away saying, “It would have been dangerous to allow anymore people in – no matter who they were.”
