Amy Winehouse rushed to hospital, cancels shows
Amy Winehouse was rushed to the hospital this morning for an unknown reason. A rep for the “Rehab” singer said that Winehouse was treated for exhaustion. She has been discharged from the hospital and sent home with strict instructions of “complete rest.”
The Winehouse rep would reveal no other details other than “it came about quickly” and her hectic schedule from doing a world tour might be the reason for the incident. All of her shows have been cancelled for now.
Winehouse’s hit song “Rehab” is competing for the video of the year award at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
