Rochester Resources Starts Exploration and Drill Program at Mina Real Project

 

Rochester Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: RCT) has begun an aggressive exploration and delineation drill program at the Mina Real Project in Nayarit, Mexico. The drill program will target 3 major vein systems at the Florida, Tajos Cuates and Macedo area in order to outline the economic resources to support its production.

The Mina Real Property is located at the Sierra Madre Occidental Range. This is one of the largest epithermal previous metal regions in the world, hosting a majority of Mexico’s large tonnage gold and silver deposits. XPLOR has been contracted to complete a drill program of 102 drill holes over 21,915 meters at Mina Real.

 

The drill program will start at the Florida NW area where the company will drill test 12 veins on surface up to 1.5 km in length to the northwest of the intrusive at the Florida Mine. The veins are located parallel to the Florida Mine and previous surface work supports the continuity of the vein system to the northwest of the post-mineral intrusive.
