ABC has chosen a new Bachelor. This time instead of a Navy Officer, 25 girls will compete for the love of a southern gentleman.

Brad Womack was born in Atlanta but raised in Texas. The 34-year-old spent his early adult years working oil fields in several states but now he is ready to settle down a start a family. 25 lucky women are set to compete in a race to win his heart on ABC’s hit reality show “The Bachelor.”

Womack is also a successful businessman. He co-owns four bars with his brothers The Bachelor have named him “The Bachelor’s own McSteamy.” The network says he is “sincere and optimistic” about searching for his wife.

The show premiers Monday, September 24 at 9:30 p.m.
