2010 Winter Olympics Results Alpine Skiing Men’s Super-G Finals: Aksel Lund Svindal Grabs Gold as Bode Miller Finishes with Silver
Norway’s Aksel Lund Svindal grabbed gold in the men’s Super-G finals at the 2010 Winter Olympics on Friday, improving on his finish in the downhill where he finished with silver.
Silver this time fell to Bode Miller who earned his second medal of the Winter Olympics having earned bronze in the downhill earlier this week. Miller was in gold medal position after finishing .03 seconds ahead of his American teammate Andrew Weibrecht but a solid run from Svindal pushed him to silver.
Weibrecht was able to hold on for the third spot on the podium and take the bronze.
