Andrew Lloyd Webber Interested in Purchasing Abbey Road Recording Studios

Andrew Lloyd Webber has announced his interest in purchasing the Abbey Road studios in London. The legendary studios, where The Beatles recorded most of their music (Forever immortalizing it in their 1969 album ‘Abbey Road’), looks like it is going to be sold in order to raise money for EMI to clear their indebtness.

Lloyd Webber’s spokesperson has said that he is keen to own the studios. He recorded his previous musicals ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and ‘Love Never Dies,’ at this studio.

His spokesperson also stated that, “Andrew has probably brought more musicians to record there than anyone else, because it has the capacity to record large orchestral production.”
