Pixies Reunion All About the Cash

The Pixies have revealed that they are all about the cash. Black Francis said that he wouldn’t mind playing more reunion shows but only if “its going to earn us a fair wage.”

The front man, The Quetus, stated that it “ain’t about the art anymore.”

“We’re interested in anything that’s going to earn us a fair wage,” he declared. “It’s not to say it’s not about art, but we made the art f@*$ing 20 years ago. So forget the fucking goddamn art. This ain’t about the art anymore. I did the arty farty part. Now it’s time to talk about the money.”

Preparing for an Australian and New Zealand tour next month, Francis said that he would like to head back to the studio and create new music with the group, but he does not believe that is possible.

“Of course I would,” Francis said. “Do I seem like I’ve said anything in the past different? The more I talk about it with guys like you the less likely it is to happen.”
