A mine accident in Princeton, Indiana has left three construction workers dead. The men were killed while digging a shaft for an underground coal mine, they had been in a basket used to carry them up and down an air shaft.
It was unclear how the men died but there were no reports of a cave-in or an explosion.
This is the second major accident at a coal mine in less than a week. Rescue workers ar still trying to contact six miners in Utah who have been trapped underground since Monday following a cave-in.
