Jessica Alba has herpes?

Jessica Alba reportedly has herpes. The actress allegedly contracted the disease from former boyfriend Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees baseball team.

Alba’s former assistant claims that the actress was taking Valtrex, which is a treatment medication for herpes, and she had to regularly refill the prescription.

Alba recently split from long time boyfriend Cash Warren. The breakup was caused by Warren’s refusal to propose. The couple had been dating since they met on the set of Alba’s movie, “Fantastic Four,” in 2005. “He wasn’t ready for marriage, and Jessica is,” a source said. “It’s as simple as that. It’s kind of cold that people are saying she has just finished with him, because it isn’t like that.”

Jeter has also dated other Hollywood stars including Mariah Carey, Vanessa Minnillo, and Jessica Biel.
