Sergio Garcia Disqualified at PGA Championship
Sergio Garcia was disqualified at the PGA Championship on Saturday after the Spaniard signed an incorrect scorecard.
Garcia’s playing partner, Boo Weekley, penciled him down for a four on the par 4 No. 17 hole but Garcia actually bogeyed the hole. After Garcia completed the third round he signed the scorecard without correcting the mistake. Once Garcia left the scorer’s tent he was automatically disqualified.
