Brandon Backe (elbow) will make the third of his six scheduled minor-league rehab starts Sunday for Triple-A Round Rock at New Orleans.
Backe has given up 10 hits, five runs and struck out eight in 8 2/3 innings in his first two starts at Double-A Corpus Christi and Round Rock.
He's hoping to return in early September.
