A Micronesian service held at the First Congregational Church in Neosho, MO. was the scene of a triple killing on Sunday after a gunman interrupted the afternoon service and opened fire.
According to police the gunman had been involved in an argument with one of the parishioners the previous night. Shortly after the 1:00 p.m. service began the man entered the sanctuary and ordered the children out. The gunman then opened fir inside the church and killed three while wounding another five.
Kernal Rehobson, the man who had led the small Micronesian service, was among those killed. The other two victims were male members of the congregation.
The gunman eventually surrendered to police and was taken to the Newton County jail.
