Ben Affleck’s acting career ruined because of “bad choices”

Matt Damon believes that Ben Affleck made “bad choices,” and that’s why his acting career is ruined. “The Bourne Ultimatum” star says that he thinks his friend’s career has went bad because if his choice in film roles and the media attention from his romance with actress Jennifer Lopez.

In 1997 Damon and Affleck made their big break into Hollywood after they wrote and starred in “Good Will Hunting.” The film won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

Damon was recently named the highest paid actor. He has starred in box office hits including ‘The Departed’ and all three ‘Bourne’ films.

Affleck starred in the war drama ‘Pearl Harbor,’ which seen good reviews. He co-starred with Jennifer Lopez in ‘Gigli,’ which didn’t do so hot.

“H picked things that in hindsight weren’t a good choice. I also think that if you end up on the cover of gossip magazine you’re (explitive),” Damon says. “When people see you all the time there’s no mystery about you any more and no-one’s going to wants to go see your movies.”

The pair plans to work together on another film in the future.
