Kanye West No Longer Battling 50 Cent for Album Release?

According to MediaTakeout.com, Kanye West's latest album Graduation is no longer coming out the same day at 50 Cent's album Curtis. West has apparently changed his release date from September 11 to an unknown date. 50 Cent has stated for weeks that West would do so.

The date was a historic day for hip-hop as two of its giants go head-to-head for best opening week. BET's 106 & Park when the hosts Terrence and Rocsi asked the two rappers to both come on the show on September 11 and stage a mock presidential debate over whose album was better. 50, who was the guest on the show, said West wouldn't show up. Later West thought the idea was foolish.

Other websites have reported this same news tibdit, but according to DefJam.com, the website for Kanye West's label distributor, Def Jam, West is still slated for the original September 11 date. Roc-A-Fella Records' website also still has the original September 11 date as well.
