Jessica Simpson wants to adopt like Angelina Jolie

“I think Angelina Jolie has done amazing things. The international adoption rate has skyrocketed,” Simpson says. “I want to adopt before I actually have my own kids. I want three kids – but I don’t know if I can give birth three times. I’ll have to see how much pain is involved the first time round.”

The 26-year-old reveled that she wanted to adopt a baby for her birthday when she was 16. Simpson visited the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Mexico for the first time when she was a teenager, and said she asked her father is she could have one of the orphans.

“The first time I went to that orphanage, I was 16. I remember holding this baby who was found in a dumpster. I wanted to adopt him right then and there. I was like, ‘Dad, can I have him for my birthday, please?’” Simpson said.

The “Dukes of Hazzard” star donated a van to the orphanage earlier this year. She was cheered on by the children as she personally delivered the van to the house.
