ACO 2010 ProAm Cornhole Tour Starts with IceHole Classic at Turfway Park

Cornhole pros fresh from the ACO US Nationals King of Cornhole event in Las Vegas begin their National Campaign

American Cornhole, LLC will begin its 2010 ACO PRO and ACO ProAm tour when it kicks off the ACO IceHole Classic February 26th and 27th . The ACO has chosen Turfway Park in Florence, Kentucky for the National kickoff of its 2010 Master Series Tour.

The ACO Pro / ProAm Tour is much more than an event for pro cornhole players. The weekend activities feature the ACO-PRO event but Turfway will rock with the scheduled ProAm and recreational tournaments. Cornhole players, families and friends gather for a weekend of good cheer, social networking, and various levels of cornhole play. This year the ACO has added Social (Recreational) Cornhole Tournaments to the ACO Pro events with the introduction of the “Social Sixty”.

The Social Sixty is players looking for recreational cornhole competition in Singles, Doubles, and Luck of the Draw Doubles Tournaments. Players competing will earn points toward their “Social Sixty” ranking and prizes for a strong showing. The Social Sixty ranking will be in place throughout 2010. The Social Sixty gives amateur players a chance to see how they
compete on a National scale.

The IceHole Classic is one of five Master Series events taking place across the United States where ACO-PROs earn points to their Season-long CornyForty ranking. Competition is fierce with the Cornhole pros. A good showing in the CornyForty qualifies players  to compete in the ACO-Pro Tour that has over $165,000.00 in guarenteed prize money. It is anticipated the ACO-Pro Tour will grow to over $250,000.00 in prize money by the end of the year.

The Pros have a shot at an additional $25,000.00 in bonus cash for a top showing in the CornyForty that is paid out at the end of the year. Much is on the line and it all starts at Turfway Park February 26th and 27th.

To participate in the weekend event as an ACO-PRO the participant must attain an ACO and CornyForty membership and Register for the tournament qualifier round.

To participate in the weekend event as a social player and be part of the Social Sixty recreational tournament a $20.00 Admission is all that is necessary.
