Toronto Raptors Star Chris Bosh Out of FIBA Americas Tournament
Chris Bosh, the star forward for the NBA’s Toronto Raptors, withdrew from the U.S. training camp preparing for the 2008 Olympic qualifying tournament on Wednesday.
Bosh has been sidelined with a left foot injury and will now miss the FIBA Americas tournament, a qualifier for teams vying to make it to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.
While Bosh will miss the FIBA Americas tournament he will still be eligible for the team if the U.S. qualifies. Bosh averaged 22.6 points and 10.7 rebounds in 69 games.
