President Bush’s daughter Jenna Bush engaged

First daughter Jenna Bush is getting married to boyfriend Henry Hager. The White House announced their happy news on Thursday in a statement saying, “President and Mrs. George W. Bush are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jenna Bush, to Mr. Henry Hager, son of the Honorable and Mrs. John H. Hager of Richmond, Virginia. Miss Bush and Mr. Hager became engaged Wednesday, August 15, 2007.”

Hager is a former Commerce Department staff member and began to get his MBA at the University of Virginia Darden School last August. Jenna plans to publish her book, ‘Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope’ in the fall. She was also a public school teacher.

 

According to press secretary Sally McDonough, no wedding date has been set yet.
