Randy Moss Might Not Play for Patriots Anymore

Randy Moss doesn’t think that he will be playing for the New England Patriots next season. To be more specific, he doesn’t think the Patriots will extend his contract after the 2010 season, which will be the final season of a 3-year contract that he signed in 2007. Moss, who turned 33 on February 13, says that his prediction is based simply on business considerations: “You got to understand the business of football. There is not bad blood. There is no animosity on my side or their side. I think it's just the nature of the business of the NFL.” As for his future in football, Moss explains that “after this season if there is not a lockout I'll be looking for a new team.” He expects that teammate Tom Brady, who is also entering the final year of his contract, will stay with the Patriots. Moss is a 4-time All-Pro selection, a 7-time Pro Bowl selection, and a Pro Bowl MVP.
