Trent Green Leads Miami Dolphins in Win Over Kansas City

Trent Green entered Arrowhead Stadium as a visitor for the first time in over six seasons and proved to his old Kansas City Chiefs’ teammates and staff that he can still lead a club as his Miami Dolphins snuck out with an 11-10 victory on Thursday evening.

Green played just two series in the Dolphins second preseason contest completing 4-7 for 41 yards. While the numbers weren’t overwhelming Green did his part in leading the Dolphins down the field before mistakes held up any scoring.

Kansas City continued to struggle running the ball as Larry Johnson remains a holdout. The Chiefs ran for just 61 yards in the game in part due to an offensive line that has proven weak over the first two games of the preseason.

While the Dolphins snuck out of Arrowhead with the win they still have some kinks to work out. They were guilty of eight penalties in the game and allowed 224 yards passing against a team struggling to find a quarterback.
