Clinton Leads Other Democratic Contenders In Leadership and Experience

According to a poll released Monday by CNN, Sen. Hillary Clinton is considered by many Democrats as more experienced and strong leader compared to her rivals in the 2008 Democratic nomination. The strong leadership of Sen. Clinton is seem as her biggest asset and could help her win the Democratic nomination. However, such strong leadership may not be enough considering that most Democrats who participated in the poll do not think that Sen. Clinton is the most likable and the most honest.

The poll which has a sampling error of plus or minus 5 percent showed Sen. Clinton as the strongest pick for leadership with 47 percent while Sen. Barack Obama got 22 percent and Sen. John Edwards with 13 percent. When it comes to the question as to who has the best experience to be president on the country, Clinton again got the highest score are 59 percent followed by Edwards at 11 percent while Obama got just 9 percent. On the question as to who is the most qualified to become Commander-in-chief, Clinton again got the highest score at 46 percent while Obama got 15 percent and Edwards with 13 percent.

On the issue of bringing changes into the government, the Democrats voted Clinton as the person who is most likely to bring change. Around 40 percent of those who responded to the poll saw her as the agent of change while only 27 percent favors Obama and 15 percent put their trust in Edwards. However, when it comes to who is the most likable candidate; Obama got 34, Clinton 31 percent and Edward 19 percent.
