2007 Dodge Caravan SWD

The Dodge Caravan is among the most well known and most popular of all vans on the road today. This is likely due to not only to it enconomic fuel consumption and mileage, but also its stability, committed safety components, and exceptional storage space.

The 2007 Dodge Caravan SWD comes in two trims—the SE and the SXT. The latter, SXT, has the greater power (3.3-liter, V6, 170 HP) but similar mileage capacity as the SE’s standard 2.4-liter, 14 150-horsepower engine. As a matter of fact, the V6 is among one of the most efficient engine systems in use today. Bothe range in mileage capacity from 19-mpg (city) to 26-mpg(expressway). The standard 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive allows for a smooth transistion between velocity adjustments to meet a variety of driving needs in a plethora of environmental conditions.

Stability can be found in the vehicle’s front power 281-mm x 28-mm Vented Discs and rear power 250-mm x 55-mm drum brakes, not to mention its side guards at the doors. These design implementations provide controlled maneuverability as well as maintain structural integrity.

This explains the abundance in safety components installed on the make. Driver and passenger airbag engage in a multi-stage deployment process to ensure that occupants are protected at all times. Front and rear 3-point seatbelts with third row center lapbelt lock tightly and snug so that said occupants are fastened firmly in place.

As for storage, second row bench seats are removable to allow luggage packing. Front locking, lower console, and underseat storage offer ample space for stashing extra carry-on accessories. A cargo net keeps everything in places, especially storage placed on the exterior of the vehicle.

The design of the four-door, seven-passenger 2007 Dodge Caaravan mini van is an extension from 2006, which makes sense because the make was popular enough that enhancements weren’t necessary for increasing sales. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it!
