Carlos Beltran on Good Terms with Mets

Carlos Beltran is on good terms with the New York Mets after a recent dispute regarding a knee surgery that he chose to undergo. The Mets said that they had told Beltran to hold off on surgery so that the team could assess its options, but Beltran says the team did not say anything to him until it was too late. A doctor removed cartilage and shaved bone spurs, and his recovery time was estimated to be between 8 to 12 weeks. According to Beltran, the doctor told him that he would feel much better the day after the surgery, and Beltran found that to be the case. “I'm very happy with the outcome,” he said. He intends to continue the rehabilitation process at a cautious pace.
