Brady Quinn Impresses in Debut for Cleveland Browns

Brady Quinn may have the people in Cleveland forgetting about an 11-day holdout that jeopardized his rookie season in the football loving city.

Quinn got his first action in a Browns uniform on Saturday night and threw a pair of touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to jumpstart an anemic offense that had gone just over three quarters without any points.

Entering the game with his team trailing 23-7 to the Detroit Lions, Quinn hit five passes in a row and capped the 63-yard drive with a three yard touchdown pass to Effrem Hill.

Quinn took the snaps on the next Cleveland possession and once again marched the Browns down the field and finished the 92-yard drive with a six yard touchdown pass to Jerome Harrison with 18 seconds left in the game.

While the Browns dropped their first game of the preseason 23-20 Quinn was still the talk of the game. The former Notre Dame star finished the game 13-20 for 155 yards and two touchdowns. Three of his incomplete passes were intentional spikes to stop the clock.
