Brett Favre Leads Green Bay Packers in Rout of Seattle Seahawks

Saturday night was more along the lines of what Brett Favre was hoping for when he opted to return for his 17^th season in the NFL. The future Hall of Famer completed 7 of 12 passes for 74 yards and a touchdown while his Green Bay Packers embarrassed the Seattle Seahawks 48-13 on Saturday night.

Favre lead the Packers to 17 points in his first four drives as Green Bay build a 38-10 lead by halftime.

Aaron Rodgers backed up Favre for the second straight game and completed 10-17 for 95 yards and a pair of touchdowns but was guilty of a pair of fumbles as well.

For Seattle, it was an accomplishment if they could hold on to the ball long enough to get to a punting down. The Seahawks committed six turnovers in the game, two of which were returned for long touchdowns. Green Bay was just barely better than Seattle as the Packers coughed the ball up five times in their win.
