Pete Doherty Facing Jail Time After Monday Morning Arrest
Pete Doherty, the lead singer of Babyshambles and former boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss, was arrested once again on Monday morning after London police discovered the 28-year-old to be in possession of drugs.
Doherty, along with two companions, were pulled over in east London early Monday. The three were taken to a police station and are currently being held.
Babyshambles performed at the V Festival in Staffordshire on Sunday.
Prior to Monday’s arrest Doherty had been warned by a magistrate that if he did not display a level of commitment to kicking his drug addiction then he would face jail time. Just last month Doherty pled guilty to possession of crack cocaine, ketamine, heroine and marijuana.
