Aaron Boone Announces Retirement

Former Yankee to Become Analyst for ESPN

Major League Baseball player Aaron Boone has announced his retirement from the sport.  He will become an analyst for ESPN’s “Baseball Tonight” beginning in March.

Boone, a third generation player, played for six different teams throughout his career and returned after open-heart surgery in 2009.  However, he is probably most famous for his 11th inning home run during Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS which caused the Yankees to defeat the Red Sox.
