Tuesday provided a break for NASCAR fans as the weather that had washed out the race at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday and Monday passed through long enough for Kurt Busch to capture the checkered flag.
Busch was able to hold off Martin Truex Jr. and Jimmie Johnson to win the 3M Performance 400 race while defending champion Matt Kenseth finished fourth.
Busch led for 92 laps in his Dodge #2 car that earned another win for Penske Racing.
