Former Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller is going to make a decision about his return to the NBA by mid-September. Recently, the Boston Celtics have contacted Miller in hopes to bring him out of retirement for a year and to play with the team.
With the new acquisitions of Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen, the Celtics have a bonafide chance to win the Eastern Conference. With Miller, playing in the suggested role of backup shooting guard, he can push them over the edge and win the coveted NBA championship, something Garnett, Allen, Miller nor current Celtic Paul Pierce have won.
Miller says he is working out twice a day. He has been doing so for "six to seven days" thus far and says he has ten more to judge if his body is ready or able to return.
