After weeks of speculation, it is determined that the robberies of New York Knicks center Eddy Curry and Miami Heat forward Antoine Walker was done by the same people.
Demorris Hill, 25, and Antoine Larkins, 28, both of Chicago, were accused of tying up Curry, his wife and an employee in his suburban Chicago mansion on July 28. They robbed him of cash and jewelry. The two men face five counts of armed robbery, six counts of aggravated kidnapping and one count of home invasion.
Hill, Larkins, along with Phillip Allison, 28, and Gregory Reedfields, 23, are also charged with home invasion, armed robbery and aggravated kidnapping in a similar robbery of Walker's home on July 9. They tied up Walker and a relative and stole Walker's jewelry, cash and Mercedes-Benz.
A third suspect is still at large for the Curry robbery.
Bond was denied for Hill and Larkins in the Walker case.
