Bill Murray made golf funny in his portrayal of a groundskeeper in the 1980 flick “Caddyshack” but his recent drive through downtown Stockholm in a golf cart might not be a laughing matter if police determine the American actor was drunk.
The 56-year-old Murray refused to take a breathalyzer after police pulled him over so they administered a blood test instead. Results of the test should be back within 14 days but Murray probably won’t be sticking around that long.
Murray signed a document confirming that he had been drinking. As part of his admission he also agreed to allow a police officer enter a guilty plea on his behalf if the case were to go to trial.
