West Virginia County Commissioner Joseph A. Hardy III Files for Divorce from Kristin Georgi
After less than fourth months of marriage 84-year-old Fayette County Commissioner Joseph A. Hardy III has filed for divorce from his 23-year-old wife Kristin Georgi. According to the petition filed on Monday Hardy cited irreconcilable differences.
The two met while Georgi was working at a resort and spa in Farmington. The 2003 high school graduate received a 10-carate engagement ring and a Porsche from Hardy before she became his third wife.
Hardy’s was married to his first wife, Dorothy, for more than 50 years and the couple had five children together. After their divorce in 1997 Hardy married an employee from his company 84 Lumber and had two children with her.
