Heather Johnson, one half of the “Barbie Bandits” duo accused of robbing a Bank of America, pled guilty to theft and marijuana possession charges on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old blonde tearfully entered her plea, admitting guilt to her role in the February heist at a BOA branch in Acworth, Georgia that netted over $10,000.
Speaking before Cobb County Superior Court Judge Mary Staley, Johnson said “I do regret what I did. I wish I could take it back every day. I can't take it back, but it has turned my life around in so many ways.”
Johnson was with Ashley Martin when the two handed a teller a note demanding the cash. It was later discovered that the teller was in on the heist and he now faces charges as well.
Staley refrained from sentencing Johnson until her co-defendants’ cases have been resolved.
