Pictures of Juanita Bynum after she was attacked by her estranged husband have been released. Bynum, an well-known evangelist, was beaten by her husband, Bishop Thomas Weeks, in an Atlanta parking lot Wednesday morning.
According to police, The two were supposed to have met at Renaissance Concourse Hotel near Atlanta's airport to try to reconcile. Unfortunately, around 4 am, they began a physical altercation. The bellman of the hotel had to pull Weeks off of her. Weeks then fled the scene of the crime.
She was admitted into Piedmont Hospital where it took hours for the staff to realize the cause of her bruises.
Rumors have it that Bynum was upset about her husband's uncomfortably close relationships with a few men in his church. Weeks is the founder of Global Destiny churches.
Bynum, a New York Times best-selling author, singer, and preacher, is also an actress, starring in the upcoming movie "Mama I Want To Sing", coming out this November. She recently released a magazine “Ethene Magazine: Global Beauty Inside and Out” and a new line of sleepwear called The Art of Sleeping.
