Lindsay Lohan escapes felony charges in DUI and drug cases
Lindsay Lohan escaped felony charges she was expected to receive in two DUI and drug related cases. The actress was charged with seven misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence and using cocaine.
Lohan was charged with her first DUI in May after she crashed her car into a curb. She was charged with a DUI, leaving the scene of the accident, and procession of cocaine. The ‘Mean Girls’ star checked into rehab and soon after her release she was arrested again on DUI and drug charges after she chased her former assistants mother in an SUV through the streets of Santa Monica. In that case she was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood alcohol level of .08, using cocaine, and reckless driving.
In both cases, the charges relating to the cocaine found on her where dropped because officials say that it couldn’t be linked back to Lohan.
