ESPN has suspended Tony Kornheiser from his show, Pardon
the Interruption, after he made inappropriate comments about Sports
Center host Hannah Storm.
During a taping of his show Monday, Kornheiser commented
on Storm’s outfit, calling it “horrifying” and describing her skirt as being so
tight it looked “like she has sausage casing wrapping around her upper body.”
ESPN vice president John Skipper called the comments “hurtful
and personal.” “Tony has been suspended from PTI for two weeks. Hanna is a
respected colleague who has been an integral part of the success of our morning
Sports Center,” Skipper said in a statement.
Storm has not commented.
