Nicole Richie won’t marry Joel Madden

Richie reportedly said she was desperate to get married to Madden before she had to serve four days in jail and before the baby was born this winter.

Sources say now the ‘Simple Life’ star wants to wait to get married so her child won’t think they “rushed to get married because she got pregnant.”

“She doesn’t want to get married just to say she did it before the baby was born. She wants to do it on their own schedule,” the source adds. “And it will be done because they are in love, not because they are up against some deadline.”

Another factor added into the decision is that she wants to enjoy planning the wedding and not be rushed and she wants to look ‘gorgeous for her wedding photos.’

“She doesn’t want to have to get one of those dresses with a high waist, you know, just to hide her stomach. She wants to look gorgeous for her wedding photos,” the source says.
