Donald Driver Injured in Packers Loss to Jaguars

The Green Bay Packers dropped their first game of the preseason and more importantly may have lost Donald Driver after the Pro Bowl receiver injured his right foot late in the first half.

Green Bay fell to Jacksonville 21-13 but the focus for Packers fans was fixed on the man seen as the go-to guy for quarterback Brett Favre. Driver was helped off the field after he was tackled by Sammy Knight and hit the ground in an awkward manner.

While it was initially thought to be a foot sprain Driver’s injury won’t be fully disclosed until Friday after he undergoes medical tests.

Favre played most of the first half and finished 14-20 for 130 yards.
