Fidel Castro believed to be dead

Fidel Castro’s death is being speculated in recent reports. On August 13th the communist dictator’s health took a downward plunge and since then speculation on his death has hit the internet.

According to one source, United States officials will be holding a press conference to officially announce the death of Castro and police are calling in reinforcements before the announcement is made.

Due to his failing health Castro has not been seen in public for more than a year but has appeared in several videos and photographs.

Cuban foreign minister Felipe Perez Roque denies the rumors Castro is about to die. “In particular he keeps in constant touch with the leaders of Cuba’s (Communist) Party and government,” he says.

He adds that Castro is “informed and consulted constantly and works all the time.”
